Najeeb Rasheed was born and raised in Chester, Pennsylvania, the son of Jamal and Odessa Rasheed. He began his football journey with the Parkside Knights from 1986 to 1993 under the guidance of his favorite coach, Billy Ford. At Chester High School (1994-1998), Najeeb excelled both on and off the field. He earned a starting spot at defensive back in his junior year and became the starting quarterback in 1997. That same year, he was honored as All-Delco Player of the Year, earned Second Team All-State, and received the prestigious Maxwell Award.

Family has always been at the heart of Najeeb's life. He has been married to his wife, Claudia, for 11 years, and they are the proud parents of four children: Michai, Najeeb Jr., Trey, and Najae Rasheed. He is also a proud brother to Monica, Yvette, Maryam, Dwayne, Jamal Jr., and Jameer.

Najeeb's life reflects the values of dedication, leadership, and community - qualities that continue to inspire those who know him.
